Not sure where to post this, but wanted to share one of my favorite sites - Livecam of eagle nest in Hanover, PA - due to lay eggs any day now.  This pair has been coming back for years, I've been watching for 3 years.  Nest failed last year, but successfully raised two young year before last.  Hope you all enjoy watching as I have.

I think I've watched this one before. We have a couple spots around here that the eagles use. One year a storm took out the tree the nest was in. The nest was fully intact and they managed to get up into a similar tree about a 100 feet downstream. It didn't take long for the eagles to make sure it was okay in that tree and use it. I'm further north so the eagles usually lay eggs late march around here. They go south when the rivers and reservoirs freeze over too much.

Don't mess with Mama Bear, I might hug you too tight. =D

Scale is hard to judge so fyi this nest if about 8 feet across I was told by locals.

Year before last there was a huge snowstorm and all you could see was the parent's head poking out above the snow.  The dedication the parents show is remarkable.   One of the cameras has infrared (?) and at night you can sometimes see a mouse come into the nest to search for scraps - so cute - little round ears showing up the brightest.

Warning for the squeamish - sometimes gets a bit gory - two days ago there was a pair of furry bunny feet in the nest.

Two eggs in the nest so a bit more interesting to watch - mom or dad almost always there now.  You can hear the sounds of the surrounding countryside which is fun for a city girl like me, including a rooster that likes to crow all day long.
