ZeniMax says that The Elder Scrolls Online's next patch, which includes the preliminary veteran rank system changes and balance fixes previewed in yesterday's dev blog, is officially on the way next month.

The patch is coming in early August and introduces armor dyes, guild tabards, public guild store locations, a new difficulty mode for Trials, and plenty of fixes and improvements. You'll be able to personalize your look more than ever before, represent your guild, and charge with them into a new level of challenge.

Guild tabards will be cool to help instantly recognize guildies out in the world.  I often wonder if the person questing next to me is family or not.  

No pink tabards please, Fog.....LOL.  

Guild tabards will be nice, but people would have to want to wear them.  It's going to have to look pretty good for me to wear it in general use, guild events ok, but not for general use.  

The armor dyes are eagerly anticipated!

Some good stuff, some not so good stuff, and several key omissions in the patch notes.  Time will tell how it looks when it is actually released.

Hm, I'm not sure that "early" August will be in time for me since my sub ends on the 7th.  I was hoping for late July so that I'd have some time to fairly evaluate their progress.
