Choosing a main

I have spent a lot of time in beta trying out different builds to see what playstyle I like best. The two builds I have posted on this forum represent the direction I want to take after release. I want to level up one of them first as the main, and play the second as an alt later on. The problem is, I'm not sure which is which.

I see myself primarily as an AvA player. I plan to run in Gaiscioch groups whenever possible, so I want to make sure I am providing adequate group utility.

The sorceror build is designed as an AoE bomber and CCer. He will be at his best when taking or defending resource objectives, and defending choke points.

The templar is a bit more versatile. She is great for keep defense and open field skirmishes, but also should make an excellent duelist and scout. I designed her specifically to kill other stealthers.

Does anyone have an opinion?  I could use the perspective of others with AvA experience (or anyone who wants to comment, really) to help me choose.

Templars! They have wicked heals and can be quite tanky too.

I tend to run support because 99% of the time players worry about DPS, but not about keeping alive, running crystal cannons.

I hear that Kitty. I'm not much of a pure support player. I enjoy more of a hybrid role.

Yep. And I am going chop-socky build with mine.

I'm going to build a templar first too.  It seem like a fair blend of healer and tank.  Maxing the Aedric Spear in the beta keep my toon going.  Plus if you get in group a healer is always popular.

I'm considering a Templar as well.  I love healing, but will add some DPS to help if I'm soloing PvE stuff.

they are a fun class, surprised not to see more DK though,  you see so many in AvA
