Hello everyone!
Starting this weekend, 6/28 and 6/29, I will be hosting a series of Veteran level POI runs. These runs will be similar to those I have lead in the past, with a few variations. First, groups will be between 5 and 8 players as before, but unlike in the past these groups will be staggered along the route throughout the map. I believe this will alleviate some of the issues with people receiving credit for objectives, as well as properly reward the leaders of additional groups by allowing them to claim leadership for their group. I think this is important because without the help of these volunteers, large events like this could not possibly succeed with the current grouping issues in ESO.
Additionally, I have decided to end each zone's Tour with a Raffle! There will be one Group winner per Group of 5-8, and one Grand Prize winner per Zone. Group winners will each receive a Purple Quality crafted item of their choice, and the Grand Prize winner the same but in Gold Quality. If by some small chance the winner requests one of the very few items I cannot yet create, I will obtain the white version via the Marketplace or in-game, so nothing is off the table; if it CAN be crafted, you can pick it. All prizes will be Enchanted with the matching quality glyph, also obviously chosen by the winners.
The raffle winners will be determined by RNG via RANDOM.ORG; numbers will be assigned to each participant at the beginning of the run when groups are being formed. And while latecomers are always welcome to join up mid-run, no new numbers will be assigned after the first Objective has been cleared. There will be 10 POI Tours in this Series of events, so if you miss one you can always catch the next!
As always I am open to any suggestions which may improve the quality and enjoyment of my events, so feel free to post here. Most of this info is in the Event text, but I wanted to make a forum post to give a head-up to those of us who are closing in on the Veteran levels. This gives them the rest of the week to get out to Coldharbour and retrieve their Souls from the Prince of Slaves, Molag Bal!
