So, I was considering rolling alts on the other factions to do their quest content, but then I learned that you get access to their zones once starting Veteran content.  My question is what quests are available?  Is it all the quests, or like some of the more general zone quests (ie. not the big quests you usually get skill points for)?  Or do you get it all?  I'm asking because I'm interested in doing AvA soon, but I realize that if I do go roll alts on other factions, I won't be able to AvA with the guild.  But if I can do all of the quests on other factions through Veteran content, why not roll an alt on EP and just experience the other factions once I hit Veteran, and I can still AvA with GSCH.

I don't have any vet toons yet, so I'll cheat with a quote from the forums ;) :

When you meet the qualifications for opening up the third alliance, the entirety of the current game world is open to you. Yes, it does get harder, but that’s part of the fun and challenge. When you consider that 2/3 of the hand-crafted content and quests are available to you after you hit the level cap of 50, the veteran solo / duo game is huge. Skyshards, quests, delves, Dark Anchors, crafting, collections, achievements—basically everything you enjoyed during the 1-50 game, are all available at these Veteran Ranks.

The other caveat is that when you're in those zones,  you'll be phased to your own faction. So if you're EP,  you won't be able to group with people who are in the same zone but from different factions. You won't see anyone but other vet rank EP members.

You got to do the same quest are if you were playing new toon at Daggerfall or AD.

You got access to their skyshards too, so more skills points.

But if I can do all of the quests on other factions through Veteran content, why not roll an alt on EP and just experience the other factions once I hit Veteran, and I can still AvA with GSCH.

This is what I'm doing now. Just 1 EP character and I can experience all the quests and contents while AvA with the guild.

The point is that Caldwell wants you to experience what it would have been like if you had been rescued by a different faction. It ties the story and the VR system together. It also allows players to experience the other factions without having to reroll and do the 50 grind again.

Like they said, all the same content, just at Vet level instead.  So you don't need to roll alts in the other ones unless you want to see it in non-vet form or you are crazy like me and want to see if you can get every recipe in the game just to say ya did it.  =)

I just hit VR1 last night and jumped into Glenumbra.  You pretty much start out as if you rolled in that faction but in a VR instance.  Seemed like all quests were available except for the main story quest of course.

Makes sense, I heard that the guild and main story are pretty much mirrored for each faction.  I'm just doing one of each class, all from EP for simplicity sake.  I suppose faction only makes a difference for AvA, but that's just a "Friends" issue rather than anything.
