I figured, but it's sad because I know I'll never be able to justify to myself paying that fee.
Its 3 starbucks runs a month, or 1 trip to the movies, 1-2 drinks at a bar, or 3 months worth for 1 cable bill, or 1bargin bin console game. Theres lots of ways to justify it :).

I know everyone's financial situation is different and I wouldn't ever presume to tell someone else what they can or cannot afford but what I will say is:
It's a great game, well worth the cost/sub IMO. If you want to play then take a look at your current budget and see what you can cut out monthly to free up $15. As fog said a couple less starbucks or one night less at the bar per month and you'll be set.
If you think about the number of hours of entertainment you'll get for your $15 it's actually absurdly reasonable. A rather casual schedule of 2.5 hours a night 3 days a week and you're looking at 50c an hour and the more you play the lower the cost/hour.
