For those w/ Amazon Woes

So For those that ordered physical copies of the game and haven't been able to log in, there has been some effort done on CS side of Amazon.

Yesterday a Zenimax rep posted:

 "Amazon has confirmed to us today that customers affected by the delayed Imperial Edition shipment will be offered an Amazon credit amount. Amazon also confirmed that they are currently sending out emails including details to those affected, starting today, so please keep an eye out."

If you haven't gotten an email regarding the shipping delay I recommend going to the amazon site and selecting the "contact us" button, select your order and communicate the situation. Amazon will likely offer you a credit. (To me it was b/c they said I was a loyal customer). When I did this it was short and prompt and courteous.

If you are aching to play and you can't log in there are some rumors that communicating your woes may get you a one day access code from Zenimax. However this isn't entirely clear and several on the Amazon thread are complaining that ZM hasn't done anything to allow those that purchased Imperial Edition. I can wait and I dread talking to CS in general so I won't push.

I'll probably back online Friday or Saturday maybe even level to 10 or do an event, haven't done any yet.

Yeah, I am just going to wait it out.  I do have a ticket open with them about a temporary code, but like I said in my own post, it probably won't get answered before my box gets here.

 

So just waiting for that shipment.  :)

I love Amazon, I use them for all sorts of stuff but - I will not use any mail order business when it comes to games.  There are certain things that just need to be done in person or directly with the company releasing the game.   Although my problems are few and far between with mail orders - I just don't need the frustration when it comes to my gaming addiction. ;)

I ordered the digital copy from Amazon.  I just barely got my game code(s) this week.  First bad experience on Amazon.  I'm sorry those of you with boxed copies are still waiting.

I do know that some customer service tickets got misfiled at Zenimax. Most of those are being sorted out now. I would estimate that if you have an open ticket you will get a response soon. I can't really confirm any rumors, but I will say that the Zenimaz customer service agents are working hard to catch up and help everyone as much as they can.
