I just wanted to post something real quick in here.  I am sure there are probably others in this same situation.

 

Anyway, my Dad bought the physical Imperial Edition for my birthday from Amazon and it won't arrive until April 10th - 12th.  Since the grace period has ended, I am currently locked out of the game because I can't enter my real game code.  I have walked my Dad through the process of checking his Amazon account for any other codes, but there is nothing there, as expected as that is only available for digital orders, but I was hoping for a miracle.

 

I just wanted to let you all know.  Unfortunately, I will probably be kicked out of the current room I am in and have work my way back up when I get back in, but no biggie I guess.  I needed to do my taxes anyway.  :)

I'm sorry to hear you are having troubles, did you open a customer service ticket with them to let them know about your problems? I'm confident that the guys at Zenimax are working to fix it.

Hey Kitty,

 

Yeah, I opened a ticket yesterday and have not received a response.  Their customer support is overwhelmed right now.  They are not answering a lot of tickets.  There are a lot of weird issues going on.  Some people are getting their account band for no reason.  At least that is what they say, but there is always two sides to a story.

Just like in beta, there are a lot quests that are bugged.  I think Zenimax probably outsourced their CS for the launch to handle all of the anticipated launch problems, because I have seen reports on the ESO forums of CS reps who are just rude.  That does not resemble anything like the CS experience I have had before.  They were awesome in the past.  So this has to be temporary help.

 

So i am not holding my breathe on that and will just wait it out until it arrives.

I have a feeling some people are calling CS rude just because they aren't getting the answers they want when they want.  Too many think they should be miracle workers.  Also, if already stressed out, little things tick you off further even if they were not meant too.  Believe me, I had some stress moments with my nearly three week long ticket, but it all worked out.

When you do get the box, there will be three codes - two on a card and one tucked away on something else.  You definitely need the one that is tucked away on another part of the paperwork, so make sure you find all three.  I can't remember if there was another post about how these codes in the boxes, but I know people have been talking about it on RC to help each other out.

Don't mess with Mama Bear, I might hug you too tight. =D
