Going under the knife tomorrow.

Have to have an a-v fistula on my right arm. It's to get ready for dialysis which I'm told is inevitable due to the fact that my heart is not strong enough to support the needs of my kidneys (. Had a bad heart attack a cpl years ago and spent over two months in intensive care. I,m left with less than 30% of my heart now. Anyways this is an operation on my right arm (I'm right handed) and I don't know how long it will be before I will be able to use it again so I will prolbablly be well behind everyone. This is supposed to be a minor operation but I dont know if there is such a thing as a minor operation in my shape. So please send me you prayers and posative waves tomorrow.

Zudrot, sorry to hear about your surgery.  I hope everything works out great for you.

I am not a Dr, just want to state that up front before I say this, but has your Dr looked into getting some stem cell work done on your heart?  From what I have heard, that can help restore your heart to better level of functionality.  You might want to talk to him/her about it and if they don't know anything about it or just brush it off, get a second opinion from a different Dr.  You may have to shop around, because the stem cell technique is relatively new.

Thank you all for all the well wishes. Operation went well. Home already but it does hurt like hell, even after pain pill. typing with left hand hehe. Gonna try to play some but I dunno how that will go. Thanks again all for the well wishes, prayers and posative vibes.
