Question about Guild Stores in Cyrodiil

I'm looking for some clarification, if anyone has knowledge on the subject.  Maybe I misunderstood something, but I was under the impression that having the guild store open in a claimed keep in Cyrodiil meant people outside the guild could buy our goods.  I went into two keeps today and when I tried to access the store (accessed by using the Siege Merchant, if anyone was wondering) it said I wasn't in that guild and I couldn't shop.  I thought that was odd due to my assumption and also, why would I care about traveling to Cyrodiil for the guild store if I can access it from any bank.

So one thought was that it was because I was in a guest campaign and you possibly need to be in a home campaign due to maintaining the economy.  Otherwise, has something changed and we can't shop other guilds' store in Crydiiil?

I was going to post in the ESO forums, but they're a little congested atm.. :) Thanks in advance to anyone who can clarify!

Ok, so now with our home campaign set, This is still the case.  If you go to a keep owned by another guild and try to use the store, it says you don't belong to the guild.  Wasn't the whole point of guild stores in keeps to be able to sell guild good to other people outside the guild?

It makes absolutely no sense to have a guild store in Cyrodiil which only guild members can access...

Anyone have more knowledge/insight on this?

Sounds like something isn't working right because the store should be open to all in Cyrodiil.  That is what we were told all through testing.  I'm wondering if they had an issue and turned it off, but I would have to go check the dev tracker on the forums to see if any of them stated such a thing.  I wonder how many bug reports they have on it by now. =)

Don't mess with Mama Bear, I might hug you too tight. =D

I tried a couple and could not access their store either....

But to be fair, the only people I heard ever saying that you could access it that manner were other players....I never saw any dev or legit posts confirming this.  If anyone knows of any..please share so we can get this figured out.

otherwise this is just another mark against guild stores.

Yeah, this is making absolutely no sense. This was the only way to sell to players outside the guild besides spamming zone chat...

I searched the official ESO forums. There are several people asking the same question under the same assumption. I was not able to locate a thread with an official response. I would suggest everyone to report as a /bug in game.

So we're not crazy. Brian Wheeler said this in an interview (I think a few months ago):

"Guild stores in Keeps (and resources) are available when a guild claims a keep or resource (farm, lumbermill, mine). The Quartermaster will then show the Guild Store to anyone that interacts with him/her and players can purchase whatever the guild that owns the claim has posted in their Guild Store."

I tried finding more info on the ESO forums, buy nothing aside from other players asking for an auction hall. I posted asking for some dev input on the matter... I can't believe they haven't broached the subject...
