ESO Family Orientation - Sat @ 1PM

Greetings Everyone,

I'd like to welcome you to our first Orientation in the new game. It will be held Saturday @ 1PM PDT in RaidCall: 1101 and livestreamed at http://Gaiscioch.com/twitch

I would like to highly encourage anyone who is new to the family to please attend. This will be recorded and placed in our Elder Scrolls Online Family Overview post after it's completed.

I will look forward to it!   I played with the family in Warhammer and Rift, but a refresher course in all things Gaiscioch will be very helpful.   Many thanks to Foghladha and all of the Elders for their many hours of work these past several months.

Tho I rarely post, I am often appreciative!

I wish I could attend Fog, but as I stated in another forum, I'll be afk for the next 8 weekends. I will listen to the recording though and will do my best to attend family events on weeknights like Friday's Cyrodill open dungeon run.

While I won't be able to attend live, I will definitely watch the recording at some point this weekend.  I played a lot with the family in the Warhammer days but never really got into Rift and GW2; well that and the birth of my two daughters kept me more than busy. I'm really looking forward to to this game and putting in more time with Gaiscioch.

What Time zone are you standardizing to 1 pm  (is that PST)

As Booie says, GSCH runs on PST/PDT time. Note that it's PDT though: not PST (which might sound obvious if you're from North America, but isn't if you're from anywhere else).

And I'm Danish, but have lived here for the last 10 years. 

Pacific Time. The internal server clock for our website is set to Pacific and all times run off pacific. You can find the current time at the top of the page.

I would love to be there but I will be in the air flying back home.. :(

Ah, a fellow timezone sufferer. :)  I'm Australian but live in Canada now. I still remember what a pain it was to have to calculate a 15-hour time difference, and the lack of synchronization in daylight savings start and finish dates between the two countries. The timezone conversion tools http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/meeting.html and http://www.worldtimebuddy.com/ were incredibly useful for converting guild event times.

Sometimes it would be nice to have the site give us the time in a time zone that we could set in our profile.  Maybe that's something Fog could add to the wish list that never stops to grow.

We could always follow the example of the military and place everything in GMT.  GMT never changes and all you have to do is add or subtract your timezone modifier to work it out.  If a knuckle-dragging grunt can do it, it can't be that hard for most people.

i'm so used to the PST time zone by now it would just confuse me to change it, for some reason I always get the other two confused, lol..... but as long as we stay PST I'll always know I just have to add 3 hours.

Unfortunately, I will be participating in the Warrior Dash this Saturday so I won't be able to make it. Hopefully there wil be another one in the near future I will be able to attend. It wouldn't happen to be being recorded would it? I feel I should probably know some of the topics being covered.
