I played the beta weekends but honestly forgot to check if each character had a bio section. Was just thinking I need to make up Bio's for my characters because some will be crossed raced to EP.
EG: My Wood Elf will need a serious explanation of how as a baby she was found in a cave and raised by the Nords. This will give me chance to burn up some hours working on them and take some of the anxiety out of the waiting. Was thinking of having cut and paste ready bio's
I don't recall there being a bio section - which was one of my favorite things in several other games, especially when others could click on you and then read your bio. I think I actually enjoyed the compliments on my bios more than when someone thanked me for saving them during a fight.
And I know what you mean about explaining your Wood Elf to others. I had to come up with a way to explain my non wood elf name. Yet, as I was told - if you have a story and hold to it with conviction - any reasonable explanation will work, It just lies within you.

Last time I saw a clickable bio on my character was in the original EverQuest. Gee, I miss those days...
