I haven't downloaded this yet as I'm not playing ESO with the family yet. Or , I should say, in the case of GW2 , I'm not on the same server.
Should I go ahead a dl it though? Is there an ESO room or something?
Or wait until ESO goes live?

There are rooms for both GW2 and ESO as well as many other rooms for just hanging out or for discussions. Until ESO release I just pop on and hop in a room to learn voices and names and get a feel for the flow ingame.
The best part of Raidcall is the launch day of a new game.
I remember how exciting it was when GW2 launched. I popped onto Raidcall, and just sat back and listened to the excitement pouring from hundreds of other guild members. It was like the start of Hanukkah or Christmas.
As a Gaiscioch member, you will definitely want to have Raidcall downloaded and installed for launch day. It's crazy good fun (even if you don't plan on participating in ESO).
