Stats and Overcharging in ESO

Interesting video about overcharging.

ESO is adjusting maxing stats with this patch( so the private testers have said ) we get to test in 3 days  so this whole video is void in general.

So by the time I'm able to wrap my head around the whole concept of this "Over-charging" thing, it won't even matter? Fantastic!  Because i had no idea what that guy in the video was talking about.  (Aside from showing differences in stat penalties via switching out pieces of gear) 

EDIT:  Just re-watched the first few moments of the video and took a closer look, and i noticed the "overcharge" Tool-tip when he hovered his cursor over those two stats- i get it now, it's a built-in stat penalty system of sorts - I don't feel like a dummy now. XD; 

-Though i do feel rather slow for not noticing it the first time. 

I ran across overcharging in my first beta weekend, I noted it but didn't change anything as it went away after a level.

BUT Wow, him dumping all stat bonuses to health took me by surprise, glad he explained why but man, I've been investing in health/stam :P

Health bar != survivability.

I think they will probably tweak the overcharging rules or perhaps the pts per ability stat numbers, but I believe there will be some type of overcharging mechanic to govern excessive stat focus.

That being said, the video is pretty decent to watch - even if they do change the rules soon ;)
