What are people using to record gameplay these days? Back in my EveOnline days it was fraps. Whatever they were using for the live beta streams seemed very seamless and non intrusive.

For recording I use FRAPS and point it to my recording drive. For streaming on twitch.tv I use OBS. It is free and does a good job, you just need about 1mb or so upload speed in order to stream in HD.
Other recording software that I have used before, that compresses the video as you record, resulting in more HD space is called Razer Game Booster. It has a recording feature and is pretty nice.
Xsplit does a great job as well. I've used playclaw before as well. X fire is easy to use but requires it's own codec and you'll have to convert all the videos before you use them.
Using MSI Afterburner, works very well.
