Hi All!!

I am a new member of Gaiscioch :-).  the only MMO I've played is SWTOR, but myself and a few guildies are leaving (I've already left) SWTOR to come to ESO.  We were a purely PVP guild on SWTOR, and I was just curious how exactly PVP will work with Gaiscoich.  From what I can gather you guys are pretty laid back, which I love, but I was just wondering if there will be any members that would be interested in doing competitive PVP?  I am so absolutely thrilled to be able to be a part of a guild I have heard so much about but was never able to be a member of as there is no chapter of Gaiscoich on SWTOR (which I don't blame you for for; it's dying in my opinion).  I cannot wait to join you all in glorious battle ;-D

There are definitely family who like to be serious about their PVP, although in ESO there won't be "minigame" PVP, so competition will be faction v faction. Maybe your looking at small dagger/havoc group interest?

You are correct - we are a "laid" back guild in the sense we want everyone to play as they like and do not demand too much except for what is in our rules for conduct.  First and foremost We Are Gaiscioch - and that is as much a code of conduct as a name.

BUT - don't be mistaken - we have some very competitive players in the guild when it comes to both PvP and PvE.  There will be members that see very little of the PvE world and vice versa.  We have some great strategists in the guild who run full blown incursions into the battlefields and also do what is called "dagger" or "havoc" groups (small bands that harass the enemy to whatever means possible). 

I guess "competitive" PvP as you want - will need to be defined by you and then see where it fits - if it fits - I hope it fits :)

Ahh yes, I suppose PVP would be quite different with it not being something you queue up for. Thank you for the clarification! I would love to hook up with some of those strategists sometime as well :-)

 yep there are many of us that have been doing RVR since 2001 in Daoc  and before  ultima etc , as well as did the premade teams in WOW, rift, swtor, warhammer etc ,  i perfer RVR myself but  only cause i got bored on the instance 5 v 5  games  after several years of it .

  Haven`t seen 1 dungeon instance in gw2 yet been here since launch .  did all my raiding from 1999 - 2004 in EQ and  vanilla wow pre burning crusade .  only pve i did in warhammer was to get gear to kill people faster in pvp same as  vanilla wow lol .

got burned out grinding  Ranks in wow back in the day when they first added  battle grounds  rarely do them i a game that has rvr .

  always thrilling to siege a castle and have stealthers bypass the walls and wreck havoc inside hehe
