Lets conquer Hel Ra together! (2nd group)

Hel Ra Trial Run

Objective: 

Give an opportunity to Gaiscioch Family members who are not in the Sunday Night Hel Ra Group,  to form a 2nd group which will meet, discuss, practice, run and eventually conquer the Hel Ra Trial together.

***This was discussed with Prissy and a few other members and it was agreed it would be a good way to let more people get in on the fun.

Facts: 

- A growing number of Gaiscioch members are showing interest in learning/running the 12 man trials.

- Prissy has been running a Sunday night Hel Ra Event for a little while now and there has been more than 12 people showing interest to participate in the run every week.

- A regular group of players for this type of event is preferable to learn how to work off each others strengths and weakness, to conquer the different mobs and bosses.

Keeping the same 12 players group running the trial on a weekly basis, only replacing players when absent or otherwise unavailable, makes the learning experience easier, more enjoyable and also quite satisfying as each players get used to each other, within the same group. Every improvements and progresses are viewed and celebrated as victories, as each member knows the time and work that has been invested into this family experience.

Mission:

Your mission, shall you accept it, will bring you into the desolate but very dangerous world of Hel Ra, on a weekly basis, to learn and conquer the Trial, alongside 11 of your Gaiscioch family members.

Prerequisites:

- Veteran Rank 12 and above

- Be available on a weekly basis (although we all have that weird thing called "Real Life" interfering from time to time.)

- Be willing to learn and adjust your skills, techniques and methods for your success and the betterment of the team as a whole.

Experience of trials, dungeons and other veteran content is not required!

A willingness to learn, to be patient with yourself and your teammates, and a desire to work as a team to accomplish a common goal is definitely wanted!

Two main options (Alternative possibilities can be found if those times and day do not work.):

Monday around 5 or 6 pst.

OR

Wednesday around 5 or 6 pst.

So, please reply to this post if you are interested in joining. State your character level, the role you wish to have in the group and what is your availability.

We need: 

- 1 Tank

- 2 Healers (Raillery and ???) Verve (Heals, dps or tank)

- 9 DPS (Pops)

Please note: It is encouraged that the members of the Sunday Hel Ra Group, when possible, make themselves available to fill in for missing or unavailable members of the 2nd group and vice versa.

I am good for healing! Until my schedule changes, any time after 2pm EST is good with me.

When the subject of forming a 2nd raid group came up, talking with Prissy, Verve and a few others, we believed there would be interest. This would give the opportunity to those not on the 1st raid roster (unless someone is absent) to have a weekly run with a steady group and probably open the door to others that perhaps were not available on Sundays.

That said, there is no purpose in putting a 2nd Hel Ra group together if people are not interested. As much as I love doing Trials, it cannot be run with only 2 persons.

So if anyone else then myself and Raillery are interested, please reply to this post. If we have closer to 12, we will make sure we get a weekly run for everyone that signed up. (Peeps from the first group can fill in the few empty spots as needed)

If not, it is alright as well. We just wanted to make sure to offer the opportunity to everyone who wished to, to run a regular trial group.

I'll see how everything else schedule wise falls out, but as long as there are no other conflicts I should be able to lend a hand.

I can't do Monday or Wednesday nights, Monday's for sure, not sure what my D&D group on Wednesday is really going to end up doing as we get started back up after our summer hiatus.  Also I am in the Sunday group and I usually end up doing trials on Friday's with another crew, The Raven and the Rose.  I got into this group due to a gaming friend I've known a few years and they were needing someone for a trial.  The rest is history.  So Friday and sometimes Saturday I get into their weekly runs.

Not sure who all else is interested that isn't already doing it.  If my D&D group winds up changing up what it does and switches to Saturday some time I would be free on Wednesday's to help fill in this group.  

What I really need to do more of is Vet dungeon runs, but my timing is off for doing that most times scheduled with the guild though I might want to see about impromptu pickup groups when I have time.

There are a few gsch members that have been trying to do the Sunday Run but end up being back ups and cannot do it unless a regular is absent... hence trying to offer a second run opportunity for these people, including myself.

Eiahn, as i said to you last weekend, i can't do wednesday. so monday would have to be it of the two...  but tbh, i would prefer the weekend.

I know that.  Hence I pointed that out.  Was hoping it inspired someone to bloody answer more than what you got so far because I'm quite sure this guild has enough VR12's and up to do two groups.

You might want to see who is around on Sunday's that want to be in a group, but don't fit in what is becoming the regular group for Prissy and see if you can get more to chime in on when they want to do it.  You can do it the same time as Prissy's if that works better for those that can't fit in Prissy's.  It doesn't have to be a different time just because Prissy's is going on as long as all 12 think it is a good time.

The cool thing is you can easily spend 2 hours learning at first.  The other group I run with on Friday's was a mix of new and old timers at trials several weeks ago and we've beat it twice now.  I missed out on one of those due to not being on in time.  Just saying even groups that have had longer to get cohesive still have some issues with Hel Ra.  

They have grown enough too where it seems they can make a group and a half easily.  I think that is about where we are at with what we have around on Sunday's and per responses here, so far.  So be around this evening and find those who can't fit in Prissy's and see how many you really have and when they want to do it and get them to post here if they haven't already.  Have a chat on voice coms about it if there are enough around.
