Hello,

I participated in an event a few days ago and, as instructed, claimed my fellowship points.  Surprisingly they seem to reset soon after I claim them, reverting to the total I had previously.  Am I doing something wrong?

My guess is your trying to claim it twice and you're unclaiming it.

Select all the check boxes and click "Claim"

the page will reload and you will see empty checkboxes but to the right of it it will say "Claimed"

If you select the checkboxes again it will Unclaim those you have selected.

Also make sure you go to the "Claim Participation" page:

Choose the event you participated in by clicking "Claim"

Then select the objectives you took. 

The most common mistake is people go to the event listing (Example: http://www.gaiscioch.com/events/2815/) instead of going to the Claim Participation page.

They are 2 entirely different systems and serve 2 entirely different purposes. 

I believe i followed the instructions correctly.  As matter of fact the points are visibly added to my totals in the summary at the top of the page (next to my login name) after the claim.  But, for example, while last night it showed the correct point total, this morning when i logged in, the points were again removed.  I will try to follow your steps but i'm not very optimistic that it will work as i tried every way possible ....

PS: can the event leader "unclaim" points ? Maybe I'm claiming the wrong event (but i don't think so) 

No. Points fo resync every night however so if theirs any discrepanxy it fixes it. What event are you vlaiming?

Thats 151 Points. You have a total of 156 on your profile which is 5 points above what you should have. I believe those 5 points come from another option like signing up for the newsletter.

I confirm the point total summary you described.  Unfortunately this morning, if you check my profile, my points are gone again: I show 106 Fellowship points.  This could be because I am trying to sign up for DeaconGrim's event again but the system seems me as already claimed.  But obviously somewhere along the way some points of some activity were erased. Maybe you can see what event is missing this morning and compare to the list above.

Obviously, I can always forget about this and see if in the future other claimed points are awarded correctly.  Its no big deal.

I'm sure you have alot of more important things to do so I wanted you to know I appreciate your time on this.

I ran a manual resync which i forgot to include the raidcall entry in the list (so -50). With those 50 points your fellowship points would be 156. Every night at midnight the website recalculates everyones points to undesync any discrepancies  that might have happened from connection issies or people getting click happy. So typically you may see points change around midnight if anything wonkie happened when you tried to claim an event.

From the lineup on your profile your numbers seem right. You can see this chart by going to your profile and clicking on fellowship.
