W.W.W.

By: Louhi

Something about W.W.W.
What do you know about it? Do you think you are safe out there?

I will call it: The World Wild Web! Why?
Well, if you take care and play safe and never visit “bad” pages and never open mail from someone that you don´t know, you maybe can be a little safe, on the net. Bad things happen out there every second! Some people only use the net for news from what they believes is safe pages and other people uses the net to have fun.

A gamer normally plays with other gamers and have fun together, but out there you also will find strange people that enjoy themselves with destruction in their mind. They have some common thinking about “to be the best” and doing bad thinks for everyone else, who not like trolls or hackers.

There are different levels out there of this type of people, from a kid that don´t knowing what to do (with a computer) up to people who will destroy for others on the net or want to make business with other people’s accounts. (Buying things with your credit cards or sell something that they have taken from you, “in a game” etc.).

But on top of all that, there are a scary world of crime on the WWW. You will find everything from disinformation about “something”, to groups of people that “don´t like something” or want to change “something”. They doing what they believe is right and they get together in large groups and they do things that they thinking is right to do. Attacking “something” on the net, to show what they think is right or trying to get you to “believe” something (else) about “something”.

And at the top, you have large organization’s and even nations organizations who doing much more scary things on the net.

- If you play safe on the net, normally nothing happens to you! – But sometimes when you visit a game server or some other servers out there and “someone” make an attack on that server or abuse something for their own sake, you will find a situation that you can´t use that server, that is not a threat for your computer. The only thing you get is frustration about the situation.

Remember this:
Gamers (often) play with other gamers and hackers are hacking on “something” and often on other hackers. Their targets are also servers from organizations, business companies, military, communities, nations and other “large” targets that can give them “respect” from other hackers.

So, play safe, enjoy and have fun, out there!

Copy and paste the links, and you will find some large ones, this is not something from small kids who enjoy themselves, this is something bigger, much BIGGER and really scaring.

So, what happens here and now on the internet?
Copy and paste the links below, and you will soon find out, what´s going on.
Remember, a link only shows the traffic (of the threat) for a single internet provider on the net.

So, what to do next?
Well, it´s simple, KEEP on GAMING and have fun!
And DON´T FORGET TO:
Take care out there.
