Wrath Of The Dolyak [Excerpt From Sunday July 6th Adventures]

It was a lazy Sunday afternoon. Our intrepid band of heroes, with nothing better to do on this day, were out and about wreaking havoc across the Kaineng Borderlands. Again. De'ja Vu anyone?
Having assisted in the capture of Kaineng Bay, Hills and Garrison, our band of merry men and women had decided to head North in search of more adventure. The first stop would be North West Supply Camp, staying only long enough to resupply before heading out to Kaineng's North West Tower. By the time the North West Tower had been captured, it was growing dark, so our group of heroes decided to set up camp for the night inside the tower. Several Arrow Carts were erected for defense, and the crew settled in for the night.
Just before first light, our band of heroes - refreshed and rearing to go - set out for Kaineng's North Camp in good spirits, recounting tales from the previous day's victories. Upon arrival at North Camp they were met with some light resistance from several Kaineng troops who were doing camp maintenance. They did not offer much of a fight and were vanquished swiftly by our heroes. The camp was flipping when a glint in the morning sunlight caught the eye of one of the warriors, Nova. "What's that?!", he asked excitedly as he darted over to unearth the hidden treasure.
Half buried under a mound of dirt, Nova discovered what appeared to be a potion of sorts. Now, being the adventurous and somewhat reckless character that he is, Nova did not hesitate to open the bottle, and quaff the contents... *POOF* ...just like that, Nova vanished momentarily and reappeared in a cloud of dust. As a Dolyak! "Woah!" he exclaimed as he skipped around in circles, "This is awesome sauce!" and immediately set off, haring through the camp like a bull in a china shop in his new-found form. Our band of heroes had a new mascot!
After the excitement had settled down a bit, our group of heroes regrouped and made the decision to move East to conquer the last remaining tower on the map. Nova of course, still in yak form, just couldn't resist stopping along the way to munch on daisies and graze the grass! He even elicited the attention and batting eyelids of some of the local Dolyak ladies along the way! It turned out that Nova made quite the handsome Yak!
Upon nearing the North West Tower, the ever adventurous Nova volunteered to run ahead and scout out the tower. Under the guise of the local wildlife it was the perfect opportunity to get up close and personal at the tower and relay the valuable intel back to the crew.
Our intrepid group of heroes had just captured the North East Sentry Point and were en route to the North East Tower when suddenly they heard a high-pitched yelp from around the cliffside corner in front of them. Moments later, a terrified looking Kaineng Silver Scout thief came bolting out from around the corner, eyes the size of saucers, his little legs a blur, running as fast as he could. Hot on his heels in pursuit was none other than Nova, still in Dolyak form!
It was like something out of a Loony Tunes / Tom & Jerry cartoon. All that was missing was the cheesy chase music! The thief, with eyes glued to the angry Dolyak charging down behind him, was zig-zagging left and right, ducking and diving, desperately trying to figure out an escape route, when suddenly... *poof* ...he just vanished from sight. Our crew, still rolling around the floor laughing at the comical sight before them, jumped up and ran over to investigate. As it turned out, the thief, in his mad frenzy to escape the 'Wrath of the Dolyak', had inadvertently slipped off the top of a cliff and spiraled down to his death below!
