Tower Of Neborhest

I came to marshes of madness as a young engineer hearing the call for help to this cursed lands where oath gold is found and the brave mine it. i came here swearing to kill the terror of the land the vampire lord from old has arisen and has set terror to the land with his undead army. I came to the camp of oathhold where i met Durik Redbeard and he told be of a party setting out to do the same as me.
The next morning i woke to Durik calling for me to come to meeting hall.I cam at once there he introduced me to the fellow adventures.First he introduced our leader rightly named Vampiresbane a warrior priest from the empire, next came a bright wizard by the name of Azazen and a Archmage elfling by the name of Tatja lastly a fellow dwarf named artss an Iron Breakers from ekrund.after a couple of hours of planing we we off to the demons lair along the way we found pockets of resistance from packs of wolf and large vampire bats but they where utterly destroyed bye our party.
The next morning we found our self's at the foot of the mountain we found our way bared by spirits of old soldiers and adventures of lesser worth Resisting our descent upon the mountain with words from sigmar grace our leader said a mighty prayer and vanquished the evil spirit back to the after life.
We finally set off to the top of the mountain it was a weary climb but finally when we reached the top we found such a horror.the scene of battle was every where The brave company of oathbearers who where sent before us were all dead and the wrenched undead were feed on their remains.Then there slow eye rested upon us and hordes apone hordes came apone us. Leaving the meal and looking for us as there next one.
Wave after wave seemingly endless came to us we smited every foe that came near us hammer spell axe and bullet sang like there was no tomorrow and inch by inch we made twords the front steps azazena and tatja called on their on the winds of magic again and again killing dozens in fiery blast and mystical flicks of their hands my rifle hand waved back and forth firing shot after shot into the cursed undead and all the while covering the flanks of Artss as he with ever stroke of his axe decapitated each for he met with his axe. Our leader full of sigmars blessing turn undead heads to jelly with every stroke of his hammer.
We finally made it to the first of the steps of the tower and as soon as we took the first step onto the base of the tower the attacks ceased. I ask our leader why do they stop advancing? No sooner did those words leave my lips then we heard a wild laughter from high above us "Come brave adventures enter my lair for you shall serve me yet in life or the after"cackling again we swung open the door. We look and in front of us was a small squad of skeletons and a man who by the looks of it was dead many a years ago.

In victory we won bones of of our foe lay skatterd a cross the floor with numerous bats lye dead with them we look to our lead just as he finish a prayer and his hammer glowed with righteousness and he stroke smited Jaeger he fell lifeless and still to the group as his body decayed with great speed. Seeing a light i walked to the central room and smashed a great pillar and soon we heard a scream of pain from high above. these must be source of his powers smash any you see on our way to the top.
We continued to climb the stair until be came to another room where all of us stood shocked at what we saw Norrison captain of the oathbearers was in the middle of the room with host of giant bats. He said, Join my master or server him in the after life. We rushed him as Azan and Tatja disposed of the bats me artss and Vapiresbane took on our former friend and ally we struggled with him for even in death he was still a skilled warrior and only with the combined efforts did we finally strike him down with all that we had. Tatja found the other piller and smashed it with a bolt of elven light.and another scream of pain we heard and another door open on the other side of the room lead to moor stairs. we climb again fighting large spiders on they way to the next chamber where found the lords greats monster the great Orc chieftain of old Dork Redeye who no one knew what happen to him after the years of his raiding suddenly stopped in the march lands. The undead orc just grunted and charges with a wild fury of swings and blows from the orc he push us back injuring us all but still we pressed him hard pushing back to the center of the room. and while artss vamp and I kept him distracted Azazrn and Tatja channel there spells together and in a great blast of magic incinerated the once fierce orc in one foul spell might of it users the the orc lay in ashes on the floor and artss walk over as Tatja and Vampiresbane healer our wounds he smashed the final pillar, and another scream of pain was heard and we made our way to the very top of the tower.
We continued or ascentuation to top of this bloody high tower to finaly confront our final foe with Erie silence we approach the final step to the top of the tower we were greeted by a voice of something far older than any of us could think of but prolly not the elf. He bide us come in.Welcome young adventures i welcome your personally to the beginning of the rest of your lives (grinning showing his white fangs) While you throw down your arms and join me serving your master for the end of your lifes, not knowing why me and some of our comrades put down our weapons but Not Vampiresbane or Tatja the both mutter a quick prayer and as soon as they finish we all felt a anew with life we scoped up our arms and readied ours selfs for battle. So you have made your choice cattle now you with serve me still in death.
With a wild charge he drew his sword and lunged at us Artss steped up and blocked his first attack but was suddenly throw to the wall across the room with a loud thud then he turn with a flash caught the arms of tatja before she could utter a word sent her sliding into a table aways away Azazen blasted Neborhest with fire ball and he wailed in pain i shot my blunder bust while he was distracted into his belly he turn quick and sent us both to the ground as he raise his sword to kill us both vampiresbane from behind with the same glowing hammer as before struck the back of the vampire lord he stumbled forward and we scrambled away I struck at him with my hammer behind the knee and he tumbled to the floor. Then Vampiresbane raise his hammer once more striking the chest of the fould beast, Blood frothed from his lips I am not beaten yet as his final lunged forward toward the warrior priest he was cought off guard by the axe throw of artss who cought the deamon in the side and with combine spells of Azazen and Tatja the restrained him to the floor while vampiresbane open his pray book started to chat the words of sigmar and with final words of go back to endless void of space where you came from artss cut the head off the once mighty lord of the tower of neborhest. and his body turned to ash and i picked up the head and it spoke i shall return one day for vengence apone you all and i tossed it into the brazier next to me.
When that happen we will be here waiting to send you back demon says our leader.
