Pyro / Chloro Utility Build

I've had quite a few discussions about my build, so I thought I'd put it up for everyone to see. I've tried many of the popular mage builds. I have a whole soul tree where I test out the latest flavor of the month. I leveled as a necrolock (with a dash of chloro) and I'm using my 51 point chloro build frequently now for dungeon and raid heals, but this is my trusty standby. It's got the best of both worlds in my opinion.

This isn't the facepalm DPS build that will beat the marksmen on the dps meter, nor will it make you the healer for a group. What this build can offer though is solid DPS and Support versatility at it's finest.

The Pyro side has enough pyro to make you a solid DPS asset and an AOE powerhouse. Your single target DPS will not be as strong as a Pyro with Fulminate, but it's good enough.

The Chloro side is what makes this build work. You've got 2 direct heals with Bloom and Essence Surge (the OMG save the tank or main healer button) which if you're on top of things can save the party from a wipe. Tossing a bloom on either yourself when your AOE gets you aggro before the tank can pick it up, or bloom on another party member, earns you much love from your healer buddy. If the group takes damage, you've got that covered too with your flourish. Need a cleanse? you've got that too, as well as a mana regen in Living Shell. Possibly the best thing this build has in my opinion... battlerez on a 4 minute timer.

So to recap what you have is a solid DPS build that will get you in the door because they know you can blow stuff up fast. Once you're there, you prove yourself incredibly useful by making the life easier on the other chloro or cleric healing. Played right this template can be a big asset to your group. Unlike other support roles, your DPS doesn't suffer much and you're able to fill some key roles with healing, cleansing and an extra battle rez.
