Non Nobis, Sed Omnibus!

Something strange happened. On a whim I asked two passing ducks what those Monastic Knights were mumbling under their breath. They said it's Latin and means “Not for us, but for all!” I asked them how they knew, and they said they didn't, they were just a search engine. As if that was an answer. I was about to tell them this when I realized that this line of inquiry was going nowhere. We had roasted duck with red wine sauce that evening.
This was still a very unsettling experience I don't quite know how to handle. I much more prefer problems of the kind where two dozen beefy men with flails provide a solution. I mean, what does it mean? What does any of it mean?
So for the battles, we are working on re-conquering the north. The winter is harsh and our men and animals are suffering. We're still making progress even though our homestead is currently out of our reach.
Now Don for example, that's easy, he loves destroying stuff with loud things, like guns and artillery, so his name is clearly derived from thunder. And Fog... I don't know, why is Fog named Fog?
Anyway, we've fought some battle and won them all! The Marauders are tough enemies but we can handle them.
But Izzy... that's... I don't know.
Uhm, so the war. Yeah, did that, provided lots of solutions. I think I need to rest, I've been passing out during the last battles and supposedly performed impossible feats. I try to remember but my mind is all foggy... Fog? Is there... no, can't be. Need sleep.
