Was curious if anyone else is thinking of making a norn elementalist but based on more of a skyrim forsworn type character .,
I`m thinking of making a short norn since they worship the spirits , and wear tribal armor .
for that forsworn shaman look . should be fun . esp since they can shape shift etc seems great

I think it has a lot to do with roleplaying. I never previously thought about how the Norn is shamanistic. I am considering a Charr Engineer. It is my understanding that Charr do not trust Shamans. In regards to roleplaying, does this mean there is a natural contention between the Charr and Norn? Something to think about..

You post right as I'm editing. XD
There's a natural contention between the Charr and every other race. Though the Charr and the Norn probably get along better than the other ones.
Norn are very shamanistic, worshiping spiritual beasts and shape-shifting. I'm not sure they call them Shamans though, I haven't really done my homework on Norn.

You could definitely make a Charr Shaman. Now those definitely exist in Guild Wars lore. Now most Charr shaman are from the infamous flame legion, but the other legions do have shamans of their own.
This. In reality, as long as you are in a Warband, they don't care if you're a shaman or not. You are a cog in the machine.

Sorry and yes I was asking if any others had thought of playing the elementalist as more of a shaman then as a wizard type , I got the idea from reading this article on norn shamans , aswell as playing skyrim and shamans in several games going back to EQ in 1999.
The two pics in that article are of a bear shaman and a raven shaman , I think in the game the actual bear armor is koda armor and heavy but the raven set is light , not sure if there is a bear skin or not for light armor .
personaly I see a elemntal as basicly a wizard but from a roleplay aspect it`d be fun to try for a shaman look to him instead of looking like just a wizard like 99 % of the players in the game lol

I am definitely playing my Norn Elementalist as more of a shaman than a wizard and I don't like looking like a wizard but may not have much choice until I can get the proper clothing.
I am having a bit a an issue with Norn Engineer but Norn is the race I really want to play and I do want to have an Engineer also....
"Death called for me and I stared it down - saying 'Not today Death, today you serve me." Morigana of Asshai
"I cheated death many times. There is a price to pay... give me three names so that I may pay death back." Morigana of Braavos, Engineer
"I am Morigana of Dragons - of the old blood. I will take what is mine with fire and blood!" Morigana of Dragons - Elementalist
