Massively.com: Elder Scrolls Online gets another third-party auction house

TESO Elite Marketplace isn't the only attempt out there to fill in the hole of a missing Elder Scrolls Online auction house. ZAM announced today the start up of ESO Outpost to meet the needs of buyers and sellers.

The service uses "a web-based interface and companion add-on" to buy and sell gold and items. The addon includes a customizable description field, optional screenshots, comments section, tracking, and post-trade feedback.

Ok, whew.  I saw the "buy and sell gold" and thought that maybe Affinity Media was going back to their roots or something.  LOL  But there doesn't appear to be any RMT possible, so I'm assuming that Zenimax is ok with players using this site?  

I'm not a fan of out-of-game auction/trading websites.  Its not just a "trust issue", its also understanding that the game developers have no authority to take action against accounts, if a player is scammed using these websites.

It's not really a out of game auction/trading website. It's more like GW2's group site that some players have. If I have an item that I want to sell, but I don't want to sit there and spam zone chat for hours I can go to this site and list it. Then if you want to buy my item you click a buy button which then notifies me and the trade takes place in game. Either through the mail with COD (most likely way of doing things) Or a direct contact and meet up.
