Is anyone levelling using skills from this line? I rarely see any in builds I find online and I'm wondering if I'm just missing something. The Fighters Guild seems to be more useful. Thanks!
ps- anyone using/levelling the Undaunted skills?

As a Templar, I rely heavily on Volcanic Rune in my AOE rotation and Inner Light for the extra crit %. Along with the accompanying passives, it's the most effective way I've found for a Templar to AoE level sans spamming Puncturing Sweep/Biting Jabs.
i use degeneration which is an entropy morph for my nb siphon bar
Some are quite useful, but its not an easy line to level, because you have to explore for the books, which is something that a lot of players don't want to do for skills that they may not understand that well.
The 20% crit from inner light is invaluable to my healing templar. I'm also almost to having equilibrium. I see a lot of builds that use might of the guild (passive), inner light, and either volcanic or scalding rune depending on if you need the cc or damage - especially the trial builds I've looked at (one day I'll get a vet 12!)
I use Degeneration, Inner light, and Equilibrium/Symmetry Depending on which character I am playing. But almost all my builds use at least 1 ability from the mages guild line.
On my NB I use traps and bow - which consist of Volcanic Rune, Trap Beast, and the NB Fear. By the time they have regained from the Volcnic Rune - I can drop another one just in front of me - then another Trap Beast after that. Melee types hate me since if they try a any type of charge they hit the Fear that is at my feet and I just run to the other side of my trap line.
It is actually rather boring since I typically don't get hit, except by casters - but they receive all my poison arrows and if I back up out of their range I can draw them into my traps. Volcanic Rune is a really nice skill. Yes, it takes time to reach the right level in Mages guild - since you have to hunt for books, but as an explorer type - I do find a lot of them.
I will give up my glowing ball when they peel my cold dead fingers from around it.
I use Inner Light, Volcanic Rune at times and Meteor/Shooting Star. I wish I could say there was a lot of strategy behind the last 2 but I just like to see people blow up into the air :)
Fire rune is just awesome, it's the only spell i have to "prep" an encounter, and I roll with inner light for pvp.
Thanks all, it sounds like there's definitely some skills in there I need to look into. I'm a big fan of finding the books, so levelling the line shouldn't be too bad.
If you are rather new to exploring Tamriel - search anything that looks like an abandoned camp, look all around columns and such, around the outside and inside all caves, mines, etc., inside broken down carts, inside the big trees that have openings, and inside all buildings, and do a lot of 3rd person direct down views to see the blue glow. Then as a last resort when you can't find them all and want to pull a few hairs out - there is a link under the same page with the skyshards.
edit: this is the link I like:
http://dulfy.net/2014/02/25/eso-lorebooks-locations-guide/
that or get the lorebook add-on puts them all on your map :)
So far I've resisted installing any Add-Ons, though there are a number of them that look extremely useful.
I was hundreds of hours into Skyrim before I finally gave in and began modding my game. I quickly let it get out of hand lol
Don't feel bad - I don't use any add-ons either - I believe in the KISS principal - Some add-ons cause more issues with the game than they solve. So I just stopped using all of them - a long time ago - got tired of remembering to update my add-ons with each new patch. Now I know there are some that don't have problems - but it seems to contradict the "explorer" in me anyway.
...and after running completely through Stonefalls for the 4th time on a character I actually found all the lore books and skyshards without going to Duffy.
I used Inner Light for the longest for the crit value, but I've recently removed it from my skill set due to a large percentage of AvA players using Impenetrable trait on their armor.
