So my computer has been acting funny since my move, and after getting a tech guy out here this morning to check things out, he found that there is an issue with my NVidia card. Luckily I have 2 video cards, but the one on the mother board that is working, is not great and doesn't like GW2 at all (6-9 FPS at the lowest settings). For now I have calls in to Dell to see what can be done - not sure if it is still under warranty, if it is, then Dell gets to fix it, and if not, my tech guy will, but I can't have him do anything until I know that warranty status.
In the meantime I am left with - I can play the game from the laptop, but am not going to able to lead events until I get the desktop working. Hopefully I can get it resolved this week or next depending on what needs to be done and who is doing it. Usually Dell takes 5-10 working days.
Keeping my fingers crossed that it is something simple and I will be back online soon.
