The Gaiscioch for Extra Life Hype Train Leaves the Station this Month!

The first two opportunities to score some raffle tickets take place on October 22nd and 29th. This year we had so many great games to show we wanted to extend our event to a few weekends prior to help generate some buzz for the main event on Nov 3-5th.

In Loving Memory of Jackie "Lady" Smith (1973-2023)

It is with a heavy heart and sadness that I report the passing of one of our earliest members Lady aka Keggan who joined us with her husband Blockhead in Warhammer Online. For the past year, she has been battling cancer and fighting for her life. She passed on at the side of her Husband. She leaves behind a loving husband and three young men.

Going Pink for October

Every year you'll notice the logo and emblem change to Pink. In game, many of our members join the community in wearing pink as a show of support for the fight against breast cancer which has claimed not only several of our members but many of our real-life mothers, daughters, and grandmothers.

Conqueror's Blade Becomes Chapter 8

The Eldership team reviewed the standing of the siege warfare MMORPG Conqueror's Blade and its impact on our community and has decided it is worthy of the Chapter designation.

Narrowing Focus this Fall

Over a decade ago we began this search for the next Chapter and diversified away from a single or two-game approach to try to harness the change in player behavior. We've played dozens of games in search of a new chapter and found Guild Wars 2, Elder Scrolls Online, World of Warcraft, and New World. In addition, we found an adventure that would bring our community fame and attention in Conqueror's Blade.

Want to give a special shout-out to those members who are helping enable our community to do great things. Their financial support has allowed us to expand the tools at our disposal and maintain the community without burning a hole in my personal savings. While a still do pay a bit out of pocket their contributions have prevented me from having to work side gigs to keep us afloat and for that, I am eternally grateful. It's at a manageable level I am comfortable with. Without these Patreons, you'd be seeing a lot less of me. Thank you for keeping me in-game and focused on growing our community.

Congratulations to our Skyscale Graduates

This last month a medium-sized group of us set off on a quest to unlock the Skyscale in a weekly event series. I'm happy to report in a single month of twice-a-week two-hour events we pulled it off. Now that the goal has been accomplished we will be returning to a split schedule.
