Happy Holidays and Seasons Greetings to all! As we ram the door to 2024 down we can hear the cries of excitement from within. This next year has a wealth of excitement and joy waiting just on the other side of this gate. We've got new expansion announcements coming from Guild Wars 2 and Elder Scrolls Online early this year. Then we will see the release of Nightingale, Enshrouded, The Quinfall, and what could be our next chapter-sized adventure, Throne and Liberty. There is also the possibility of seeing a few additional releases including Pax Dei, The First Descendant, Ashfall, and Tarisland. Overall this coming year seems to have an abundance of fun times and epic memories. I look forward to exploring it with all of you.

The Gaiscioch Trading Post Makes its Beta Debut in January

The long overdue trading post system is almost done and I have plans to launch it into beta in January. This system will replace the Marketplace and aims to provide all adventures over level 5 with the ability to use this new tool.

While a still do pay a bit out of pocket their contributions have prevented me from having to work side gigs to keep us afloat and for that, I am eternally grateful. I wanted to take a moment to say congratulations to a few members this month for accepting their next credo and stepping into a new role in our family.

Guardians (Seaimpín)

The Gaiscioch Family Guardians are an advanced part of the Veteran Members group and serve as the front line of our family. They help newer members learn about the family, our website, and our belief system. They occasionally will need to help get conversations back on track, or report misdoing's to the family elders. They act as advisors, guidance providers, and overall protectors of the family name. By this time a member should be involved in the family for more than 6 months and has been an active attendee in family events. For those who prefer fellowship over leadership this is the last stop on the family tree. Members must prove their leadership ability to progress to the Leadership ranks through the accumulation of both Valor Points (Earned through leading events.) as well as earning Tokens of Valor from lower ranked members of the family.

Official Members have earned the rank of Lorgaire and have accepted the Mark of the Kindred credo. They have officially decided to become members of the family and start their journey to ascend the roles of the Gaiscioch Family.

Conqueror's Blade is Back! Servers are Operational and Season 18 is a go!

Join us for the King Arthur-themed season in Conqueror's Blade. Our first war after the holiday break is January 2nd. Come help us secure our place in season 18 history. I'm happy to report that the game is back to normal and running smoothly (mostly).

Upcoming Adventures in January 2024

This January we will be going hands-on for a couple of new new games. One is an MMORPG that is a bit of a mystery and has a lot of potential but also has a lot of unanswered questions. We'll be exploring the Quinfall on January 30th. The second is a game we got our hands on just long enough to be hooked and begging for more. Enshrouded is a 16-player cooperative survival game that puts more focus on the story and surviving fierce foes than it does surviving the PvTree battlefield that most survival games go overboard with. Take a look at these two and see if they're something you'd be interested in playing with us!

Gaiscioch Marches on the Capital in Blood of Steel

What started as a simple distraction from the problems Conqueror's Blade was having turned into so much more. A handful of us tried out a little 7-year-old game and much to our surprise it ended up sticking. Now with 75 people in the roster and over 25 active players, we are the most formidable force on the North American server.
