Summer 2023 Community Summit Recap

This past month we hosted our Summer 2023 Gaiscioch Community Summit where we outlined the games we're currently playing, the games up next in our adventure list, and some new games that were announced coming down the pipeline. Summertime and Gaiscioch

Summer is a very exciting time for most gamers. It marks the high season of content releases, announcements, and conferences. An overabundance of new games floods the market which can lead to population fluctuations in the game we play. In addition, many of our members will be off for real-life adventures.

Gaiscioch Quest for Extra Life 2023

We're getting things lined up for our 2023 charity event benefiting the Children's Miracle Network. Get involved now and help us spread the word. Even if you can't donate, you can help make a difference in a child's life. Attend, Share, or Participate. Every year it has been a blast and we've given away a ton of games to participants.

Their financial support has allowed us to expand the tools at our disposal and maintain the community without burning a hole in my personal savings. While a still do pay a bit out of pocket their contributions have prevented me from having to work side gigs to keep us afloat and for that, I am eternally grateful. Secrets of the Obscure Announced

A new chapter in Tyria’s story begins August 22 with the launch of Guild Wars 2: Secrets of the Obscure™, our newest expansion. Soon, you’ll be soaring through new maps high in the skies above Tyria, testing your mettle against invaders from the Mists, and mastering new combat options. The adventure continues after launch, with major releases planned every few months that introduce new locations and rewards as they expand the features and continue the story of Secrets of the Obscure.

Season 2 - Blood of the Sands is Coming July 6th

Get ready for new PvP activities, narratives, and a massive sandwurm when Season 2 - Blood of the Sands releases on July 6. Blood of the Sands will feature Transmog, Elite Trials, and a new 3v3 Arenas map, plus Cross World Outpost Rush, the First Light Retraction, and new rewards.

This season with our summertime population reduction we decided to go small are rebuild funds and population for season 17. So far this season we've faced off with Noble, THOYS, and WarriorsNation and have expanded our holdings beyond our original goal. We've fought more battles this season so far than we did for the majority of last season.
