So, with people saying they are enjoying me DMing some D&D Wednesday nights, I have decided to work a bit more on my own setting. Doing so includes creating my own stuff.
So this is an open call to anyone in the Gaiscioch who would like to help me playtest some of these creations. Races, classes, spells, monsters mostly. There isn't going to be much going on, just constant combats after combats and then more combats. You would be creating many different characters of many different levels.
No prior knowledge of the 5th edition ruleset of Dungeons and Dragons is required, though as always, would help. You don't even need to be part of my Wednesday night game to take part in this, either.
I would like to have it take place every night (except Friday and Saturday nights, as well as Wednesday nights) around 8pm Eastern US time (5pm Pacific), and going for a couple hours each night. Tuesdays and Wednesdays I could do it during the daytime as well if people would be willing to do so.
I would provide everyone with the documentation of my creations (minus monsters) for them to create a character. It would take place over Roll20 (free virtual table top, browser-based, www.roll20.net ), as well as use my Raidcall channel for voice communication. While the Player's Handbook would be useful, as it contains more options, there are some free "basic" rules released in PDF form by Wizards of the Coast. It's about 100 pages, and details 4 classes (out of the 12 total). It also contains 4 races, but you don't need to worry about those. Basic rules are available here: http://dnd.wizards.com/articles/features/basicrules
Feel free to post a reply here with your interest, and the day(s) you would be interested in participating. No need for any character backstories, and you don't really need to name the characters if you don't want (dwarf fighter would be a good enough name for this). I will add the link to the roll20 campaign once I get some interest for this, then all I would ask is you leave some feedback on what you think I would need to change when it comes to anything from that session, be it any aspect of your character, or anything about the creature(s) you fought.
Thanks and I hope to see you guys.
