You guys have already got into the Beta for this?!?!?!? I ran into it early this morning, while installing Nexon stuff and getting Vindictus set up for Extra Life.
I didn't post any comments, because the "squee factor" for me regarding anything new for the GitS IP is just too high, to put properly into words.
Sorry, I guess its probably under NDA and participating folks probably can't talk about it... but since I'm not a participant, I can. :)
The First Assault folks have been quite open about the CBT they had this past weekend, you can read about it on their Facebook page or website (I haven't checked other social media, but I'm sure they've blanketed them all). It looks like they also gave away "prizes" and other gifts to their CBT participants this past weekend, as well, which I thought was really neat.
I rather like their public face and marketing during the Beta period for this game, its a refreshing change from the typical "money grab" that a lot of publishers are embracing, these days.
Regardless of CBT access (and my GitS fan bias), this is going on my Top 5 list of upcoming MMO games to watch.
