Need help from an Irish language buff.

For the upcoming expansion I figured that I would reserve a name early for my Revenant. I wanted to do with something Irish so I tried a number of Mists, Traveller, etc combinations. I tried Walks in the Mists (siúlóidí sna ceocháin) but its too long, so I shortened it to Walks in Mists (siúlóidí i ceocháin). When I put "siúlóidí i ceocháin" into the reverse translate however, it tells me that it means "Walks in the Mist". I'm always suspect of google translate and I'm only really good for a bit of french, maybe a smattering of other languages as well. If there is someone in the guild who could help me out and who knows exactly what "siúlóidí i ceocháin" means, I'd be really grateful cuz I really like the name, I just don't want to sound really silly.

This is acceptable from what I know, and also passes mildly (more modern) when I cross-reference my sources.
Siuloid is indeed a form of walk (same meanings with just siul and siuil) and i is correct.  If you wish to imply walking or wandering, any of those are fine.  You could also use ciosiocht (reverse ` accent over the second i) to imply something more like a pilgrimage.
Ceo is the base of fog.  Ceochain is a more modern word for mist, where ceobhran is more classical (also counts as a very soft rain.)  There is also smuit, which is more of a smoky haze.  It is probably best if you use either ceochain or ceobhran (ceobhran has the reverse ` accent over the a.)

Google translate is poor.  It counts smuit as snout.  Snout should be smuilc.  It does count ceobhran as drizzle, which is one of the accepted meanings.

That's exactly the kind of thing I was looking for, thank you VERY much. I really liked Siúlóidí as a name, and I did want to be able to draw a connection between a real word for mist and the GW lore. I usually will just go with English words and names, but I really wanted to do something more unique for this one. In the past I've done names in other languages that have had translations come out way off from what I intended. I guess now that I'm older, I want to make sure that I am using the words properly and that its actually going to make sense in the language I am borrowing from. Now I'm even more excited for this expansion to come out, and I can't wait to get this name a proper character. Thanks so much Jairone!

Very welcome Boreas.  It's really just an occasional something for me (I have a tendency to go look around at X topic randomly!)
