Not sure when our roleplayers are going to be on the most and we want to work the events so they are not the same time as the WvW events. I would like to try hosting one a week of some sort as an advertised guild event.
My timing is looking like it could be shifting some. I'll probably be diving into bed earlier just because the hubby is. So I might actually end up doing my play time early in the day and be around when the oceanics are on due to his early hours.
Geared towards Oceanic time - On weekdays I could do something starting as early as 2:30am pst though I was thinking of 3am just so I can get myself sorted out to run it. I would be free without interruptions up to about Noon pst, so the timing can slide from 3am pst to Noon pst depending on demand for RP events at this time.
Weekends are always a hodge podge for me, but I'm on and off a lot depending on what is going on for the day. I won't be on for Oceanic times on weekends. I'll more likely be on anytime after 10am pst (ie after lunch my time)
I know Izzy is thinking of how to handle the RP crew as well since we both are Draio for this room of the family. I'll let her tell you when she was thinking of doing something
To help us out, tell us your play time and when you think you can play an RP event.
Also, out of curiosity, let us know if you want any intro to RP or Lore classes or something similar to help with your RP in the game.
Having RP'd in multiple gaming types since 1980, I do have some clue and can help people out with this individually or by class, as well. (YES! I dated myself!) Craziest place to RP was the completely Free Form RP days on AOL in the Red Dragon Inn. Try keeping up with things as a full room of 23 people are roleplaying. Live Action comes in second only because you do it face to face and you aren't trying to read words and actions scrolling on a screen, but things go way faster this way!
Go for 'G' rated. I dare you! =D You're words carry far more weight and power than you will ever know. Never expect people to take them the same way either.
Don't mess with the Mama Bear or her cubs (aka this family). =D
Mama Bear says, "Don't mess with them angry chickens!"
