Hey all,

I have a couple things I need to bring to the table in regards to our Friday night group and I'd like to know what you guys would like to do.

1) Sporting season has started where I'm from and starting in May and running through most of June I will be extremely hit and miss on Fridays with tournament travel. This also poses an issue an issue with moving the day/time but I'm open to suggestions if we can get a day/time that works for everyone. Again I will be spotty at the best of times until the end of July with league games running through-out the week and I can't really play earlier than the time we have scheduled now.

2) Fog has put up a WvW event that overlaps our raid time and I know a good few of you are WvWer's and more than likely would want to attend that event, which is perfectly fine. Gotta go where you have the most fun :) But the reality is we have a very, very small core group and if you choose to WvW rather than raid I need to know asap to make sure it's worth running the event (picking up 4-5 pugs is doable, picking up more is not).

3) As is we have very spotty attendance for an event that requires a fair amount of dedication and consistency and I was hoping we'd e able to have 10 people commit to a regular raid. This hasn't happened and I think it's contributed to the wall we've been hitting. With constantly changing comps, players having a little bit of synergy, and with no one confirming if they are in/out each week many of you have mentioned that it's starting to feel a bit disheartening. Now I have no problems keeping the event going and I love raiding with you guys, I feel I need to ask if this is something you guys want to continue to do.

So I guess the long and short is: Do you guys want to continue this event and if so, what alternate days/times do you have available and are you ok with organizing on your own if I happen to have a ball game or need to travel?

If you meet yourself on the testing track, don't make eye contact. Lab boys tell me that'll wipe out time. Entirely.

Due to my odd schedule I've always been the wild "plus one" that jumps from the bushes to participate, but I wanna see Gaiscioch successfuly (and reliably) beat the raid, and I think we deserve it. My external view (since I miss so many events) is that we jumped in early in the content with our own view of the game (both individually and as a guild) and didn't manage to make it work, for a couple of reasons, and that discouraged more guild members to participate in the event and invest their time on it. I've been raiding with multiple groups - again, due to my odd schedule - and eventually I meet a couple of GSCH here and there in (very) successful runs, so I know we have people able to do the content.

The reason I'm saying all this is that my personal belief is that this experience is also important for us - see the content with different eyes and with varying approaches and philosophies, acquire experience, and eventually bring it back to our main group. Maybe taking a break will do good for us! Take your time during the sporting season while we experiment with other groups and other game modes (that sweet, sweet WvW queue), as each of us feel comfortable to, and let's resume our raiding nights once we've cleared our minds and mature a bit. Sometimes we keep banging our heads in the wall while there's an open window right besides us.

Good luck, and I see you guys out there, at the oddest hours of the day (or night)!

I would love to pick up raiding again (as I've had to cut my time online down since the release of the 2nd raid wing) I am pretty much free whenever now and am able to work my schedule around raiding for the time being.
