You can find up to date information on Stability Here.

That's the official wiki, which has been a great source of information for me when it comes to the various abilities, conditions, boons, traits, skills etc etc.

Hope that helps!

I'd say its extremely useful in WvW with the cliffs and drops everywhere. Could knockback an entire group over a cliff to their deaths. Depends on the situation tho, wouldn't spec for it only.

stability is a nice thing in WvW since it prevents stuns, knockdowns, and interrupts. just be sure to remember it doesn't stop cripples or immobilizes.

Stability is huge for guaranteeing stomps and revives.

Q is for me.

I like Stability on any character that gets up close and personal in WvW. It's handy for ranged characters too, but I found myself needing it less often on them.

Stability can certainly be nasty. If you didn't know, I think it can also get you through some Guardian abilities that normally knock you back as well. I'm really looking forward to this, as I plan on running with the AOE Stability banner elite that will give everyone stability. Door goes down... oh Guardians are blocking it off with their annoying bubbles? Psch. Stability banner. We charge through. :D

Or ya know... a big siege damage spike leaves a bunch of enemies downed on the frontline. Normally, their teammates could come up and CC us out of our stomps. But if we have a nice stability banner, we can get a lot more stomps in than we normally could've. Should be fun. :D

There's a trait for the engineer that makes him go slower, but have permanent stability when using a flamethrower. Which, if you carry a certain elixir that gives you swiftness on demand (and that can be mantained with some traits/runes), makes you go as fast as anyone else.

Now... how awesome is that? :-)
