Hi. I was just wondering if you guys could help me with something is am not realy sure of, I Saw some one playing with a Thief ranger and haveing being a experianced mmo player I was wondering how this would work I was Hopeing that you guys could tell me what is good and bad about thief and what wepons he is good with and I am really interested in finding out about Thief ranger.

A ranged thief can be pulled off rather well, using mainly Shortbow and Pistol/Pistol. Most ranged thieves I've seen go for an offensive support role, picking up traits that buff their allies with their venoms whenever they cast them. For example: I cast Spiders Venom (Poison for X seconds) any ally within a specific range of me also gets Spiders Venom for their next 5 attacks.
However, if you intend to play a Ranged Thief, you are pretty much stuck with a condition build. Not much of their ranged abilities benefit directly from a Power/Precision build. So, you'd look at stacking Condition Duration/Condition Damage, and using a few venoms here and there. I played a ranged thief in all the BWE's.. so if you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
