I like the build however, fire is one of my least favorite elements to use - I wish they would give Nords bonus to ice/cold damage as it is one of my favorite elements - which is really strange considering I am an Aries - must be that yin/yang thing :)

Also it appears they changed the Cycle of Life Passive - no longer lists the extra damage which I thought it used to - so I wonder if there was a change???

edit.

Yep - found it in todays patch notes..."The Restoration staff passive Cycle of Life now increases magicka restore instead of increasing damage."

The also added magika and stamina restore to "full" heavy attacks based on the weapons you use and your level.   Sweeeet - destro staff here I come again.

That's a good change though, right?  As I understood, a lot of players had issues with the Resto staff skills having too much DPS (in addition to healing), making it a necessary choice for most builds, especially in AvA.  Lack of build diversity and all that.  I didn't like feeling that I had to run Resto staff in AvA, but it was always requested as a must-have for events.

I do agree it is a huge change to the good....  If you read the build they featured - the player used Resto in both slots specifically for the increase to damage - to paraphrase, it was a no-brainer - even on the slots where he had no healing the increase in damage was too good to pass up.

I have it on all three of my Sorcs at the moment but that is because one set of slots is for support and has few damage skills on the bar.  It is also a great change that they have the Stam weapons restoring stamina with full heavy attacks.   Now if they change the way ultimate builds - even less people will use the Resto staff which really is intended for support and healing.
