As I was sitting in my chair last night after the Hel Ra run I was going over what we could do better at the first boss that would help us improve, and what were the problems, and what could we do better, and things I noticed,

Will keep this short.

1. Information overload - We need to hear about the fight, we need to see the fight, we need to learn what our mistakes were and improve on that. One person needs to explain the fight.

2. First boss - we need to get him down faster - we get him down faster less whirlwinds and his spin. We need more DPS. It was asked of me after what my dps is, hangs head - I do not know.  You need to know what your dps is. We need to be about 7-8,000 dps. Sigh I got some work to do. I will be putting together a Find Out What Your DPS Is run this week. We will need this dps when we split for the second boss. Together we are awesome but splitting us makes us a little weaker so we need to work on that. Are you doing the right rotation, are we keeping the buffs up? Umm for me no. Looks like I need to work on that too.

3. Do we have the proper food? Can we use food and potions? That means I have to learn how to use the Q tab.

4. Everyone has the appropriate armor and glyph and it is in good working order.

5. Rezers should be the dps - call out your are down, and the person rezzing call out who you are rezzing. Be patient if you are dead we will try and get you. If all of but 1 die, please die.

6. Heals and healers - As players we need to be within range of the healers so they do not have to move a lot or chase us down to heal. Just be aware of where we are as a group. If you have a self heal that gives you a little more range. Not sure if the is a healers dps number.

7. 2 complete wipes and we are done for the evening (36 rezes then a reset) and will try next Sunday.

8. Patience is a necessity.

9. Improving your character to be able to handle the trials is your job and will be necessary as we move forward in the trials. If you want to do trials you will look for ways to improve your toon. You will do this because you want the family Hel Ra group to succeed.

10. Remember this is a family guild and together there is nothing we can not accomplish together so long as we are will to work together to make us better.

11. Most of all have fun. I was really proud of everyone when we finally killed the first boss. Now lets do the first boss faster and kill the second boss.

12  Please add your suggestion here, ways to improve and stuff,

Crazy Prissy

Prissy it is easier to test your DPS and healing on the anom,s than on a trial boss it will be 4-500 less on a trial boss but we will not have all the mechanics to deal with

also as we pick up gear from the trial bosses we get better on the dps

1. Agree w/Prissy. One person does the leading and Instructions. Some have got to learn to listen and follow instructions.

2.This is only my opinion.....When joining a Raid Grp, be prepared. Check your supply of stat food and charge your weapons. As of now, there are no minimum requirements, however... please ask for help to increase your stats. It might only be a matter of improved armor, armor set, or skill rotations. Regardless of where you are deficient, be prepared to make some adjustments to increase your survivability and that of the group. If someone refuses to change anything at all and are still deficient which jeopardizes the groups survivability, they will not be asked back until improvements are made. You notice I keep saying improvements....I'm not trying to tie you down with numbers...only that we improve and continue to contribute to the overall mission as set forth by our leader.

3. See #2.....if you don't already have it...look at the Greymind's Quick Slot add-on. It will save your life...........

4. Nuff said....

5. perfect, Prissy! :p

6. Well said...Remember, if you die it isn't always the healers fault. Ask the healer how he/she wants to set up.  They have some nice buffs, but you have to be in front of them to get it.

7. agreed

8. Strongly agree

9. See #2...If you don't want to change or improve...start looking for your bat and ball...

10. thru 12. Agreed....We are a fun group, we are a fun family, this is a  fun game.

7:  Rez totals are 78 now, for a single run, I believe.  It still goes pretty quickly.

The proper foods for Trails/Raiding, there are several foods that do the same thing. SO you do not need this exact food, but it must do the same thing (Be v10, give Health/Magicka etc)

Food for Magicka Based characters

Food for Stamina Based Characters

Food used by Hybrid builds that utilize both Stam and Magick

I hope this helps, if anyone needs I can make a couple versions of each food :)

Hel Ra is a good trial to learn teamwork and cooperation (and have some fun).  There does need to be only one Raid Leader to go over boss mechanics and fight plan, but we do need two team leaders for left/right (high/low) teams.  Overall, we had a good outing last night, I agree with Prissy's conclusions above.  They will allow us greater success and lower frustration.

There is an "odd" glitch on Nirnhorned Armor right now (this may be fixed 1.7), one piece of nirn armor significantly raises you spell resist.  Good idea to look at getting at least one piece of your armor with nirnhorned trait.  We have many Artisans just waiting to craft it for you.

If you have been able to get to "Undaunted" level 9, wearing  at least one piece of light/med/heavy gives a 6% boost to all resources, also very useful.

PvE and AvA builds/armor are not always compatible, but with a few changes every toon can be good at both.

If you want to improve your set up (armor/skills) for Raiding there are many Family members that are good resources for both knowledge and equipment, please make your needs and desires known.  http://deltiasgaming.com/ (the mesiah of ESO) is a good place to start for PvE builds.

My Mains are Magic based Sorc and Templar, I have picked up a lot of tips for PvE DPS and Healing, feel free to grab me in GameVox anytime, I try to be as helpful as possible.

I agree with Prissy's points above 100%.

Now on a more personal level:  I really enjoyed the camaraderie and group interaction but I am still very iffy if I actually enjoyed the trials themselves.  It seems like a lot of work for little reward except having fun with my guildies of course!  I might be willing to run again but healing this time to gain another perspective on the event.

Hugs Prissy and you did a fabulous jobs.  Also thanks to Lavum for all his insight!
