Smitty's Sabres 1/13 - Okay, Who Woke The BP Baby?

By: Smitty

Listen, you all need to keep it down around here. Both BP and SF were asleep quite soundly in their cribs, and Mommy and Daddy SoR had the place to ourselves. But someone had to go and make some noise and it woke BP up. Now, I know we were having a good time, and we were doing quite well, but now BP is making a mess of the place. We have to change their diaper, give them some formula and put them back to bed so Mommy and Daddy SoR can focus on working their way back up the "ladder". :)

All kidding aside, the Sabres had their work cut out for them during their run as it seemed that BP managed to find a guild in their ranks to stand up and defend their homeland. I applaud them for this because it gave us some tremendous fights! One of note was a defense of NW Camp. It had been a back and forth fight the whole night with pretty even PPT counts. We were pounding hard on BP's map as they were attempting to trash our home BL. We finally broke off and came back to help clean up when we found their Zerg. We wiped a few times as their group was quite good. But ultimately our ability to keep spawning from Bay overwhelmed their ability to hold out in an isolated camp and we wiped them.

The rest of the evening was back and forth, with a few more attempts on their Garri. Their scouts were pounding the coffee, and with white swords back, made the sneak attacks harder. Diversionary tactics will need to be employed again to draw their attention away from main objectives.

Towers are always a good bet. Have small groups knock on a few towers at the same time that you launch your full force against the larger target. This way they either focus all on one tower, or the larger target, or split up into smaller, manageable forces. In either case, something will be taken. This will be a tactic that I look to work with in the future.

In any case, please remember to turn the light off, leave a nightlight on for BP and SF, and sneak away quietly to take some more towers!

Your Friendly Neighborhood Smitty...
